Capote, Yoan, Cuba In Transit, 2002 cast concrete 22" x 106" x 27" courtesy of Alex Rosenberg Fine Arts Yoan Capote, Cuban born award winning sculptor developed the idea of these benches while waiting in an airport to catch a plane. This notion of sitting on his suitcase prompted the idea to make a poured concrete sculpture of multiple suitcases as benches.
