Houshmand, John USA Void of course, 2004 pine 23 ¾ x 109 x 36’’ collection LHR, gift of the artist, 2004 Dutch/Iranian Houshmand has always danced between Eastern Philosophy and Western principles. Educated at Yale he studied art history. His current work involves designing and crafting an exclusive line of functional art, ironically disguised as functional furniture.
