Our student tours (led by volunteer docents) are one of the most exciting and important events at LongHouse.  Approximately 2,000 students visit annually from Montauk to NYC.

We offer experiences that inspire and motivate, arouse curiosity,
astound and challenge students ranging in age from Pre-K through
Graduate School.

Whether you request an hour tour, our most popular 1 ½ hr. tour or
decide to include on-site work -- we will work with you!

When one of our docents meets your group at the gate, we are
ready to become engaged with you in a way that meets your
educational goals and provides a wonderful experience for you and your students.

We are open year round to students and tours are free of charge.

Please book early as we generally have a busy spring season.

We will work with you to focus on your needs. Visits are always free of charge to educators and their students.

STUDENT ANNUAL X

It’s time to announce and invite your participation in our 2017 LongHouse Student Annual X!

The purpose of the Student Annual is to validate outstanding student work inspired by a class or student visit(s) to LongHouse during the 2016-17 academic year. Teachers are asked to submit the best of individual or collective interpretations (small group, whole class or whole grade) for consideration.

If class trips aren’t possible, we will accept submissions by students who visit LongHouse on their own.  Elementary-MS students will need to bring an adult; HS students can come by themselves with prior permission. Arrange by calling LongHouse (631) 329-3568, or email Selena directly. There is no charge for a visit.

For more information on the Student Annual click here.
