"Be an open bowl so that some opportunity may fall in."   Jack Lenor Larsen, Founder LongHouse Reserve

We are excited to announce our first ever LongHouse Virtual Challenge. This exhibition will be exclusively online for the safety of teachers, students and their families.  We will have award certificates, an exhibition catalogue and of course, a Best In Show winner.  Your participation will be used as criteria if applying for a LongHouse Scholarship in one's senior year in high school.

Students are encouraged to think outside of the box, to dream their dreams and to create based upon their inspirations found at LongHouse. Students can enter work, individually or collaboratively, by sending a high-resolution image of their work with our online submission form.

We hope to welcome entries in: Book Arts, Ceramics, Drawing, Fashion, Fiber Arts, Graphic Design, Painting, Performing Arts, Science, Landscape Design or whatever speaks to students.

Whether your child or grandchild is back in school, is home schooling, long distance learning or part of a "pod," LongHouse is the place to be!  There's so much to discover in our gardens.  They might be interested in art, nature, design; all part of the LongHouse landscape.

In the meantime, Email selena@longhouse.org with any questions. If entering the Annual, come and visit by appointment, Monday – Saturday, 9:30am - 4pm. Accompanying teacher(s) or adults will not be charged a fee and children as always are free. Visit now or in the spring, just come. If you cannot visit in person, visit via our website for inspiration.  There’s plenty of time to think, plan, create and submit. We’re excited and welcome all submissions from near and far!

Have fun and best of luck.
