Join us for a conversation with author Christine Coulson and editor Susan Morrison on Saturday, June 29 from 4–6:00 pm.

Coulson spent 25 years writing for The Metropolitan Museum of Art and left the museum as Senior Writer in 2019. She started at The Met in 1991 as a summer intern in the European Paintings Department and returned in 1994 to start her first job at the museum after graduate school. During her tenure, she rose through the ranks of the museum, working in the Development Office, the Director’s Office, and the Department of European Sculpture and Decorative Arts. In 2017, The Met gave Coulson a yearlong sabbatical to write Metropolitan Stories, her bestselling 2019 novel about the museum. Her acclaimed new novel, One Woman Show, was released in the US and UK in October 2023. Susan Morrison has been the articles editor of The New Yorker for 12 years. She is the former editor in chief of The New York Observer, an original editor of SPY magazine, and the onetime features director of Vogue. She lives in New York City with her two daughters.
